UX design of a collaboration software

Challenge

Remote or hybrid working is becoming standard in many companies. At the SAP Innovation Center, our challenge was to develop software that would enable existing customers to better collaborate remotely in teams and manage large amounts of data seamlessly. I was part of the project team as a user experience designer and responsible for creating the overall product concept, user experience and interface design.

Approach

✍🏻 Creation of wireframes, paper prototypes and high-fidelity mockups for the development of the interface design

💭 Development of paradigms for complex interactions such as drag-and-drop or overlapping elements on a digital whiteboard

🎨 Specification of a design system including general information architecture, interface elements, fonts and colors

👨🏻‍💻 Working closely with the development team to implement a first version of the product

🫱🏼‍🫲🏾 Conducting workshops with customers and internal stakeholders to further develop the product idea and gather feedback

Result

In close collaboration with user researchers, product managers and developers, we successfully developed a software prototype and tested it with first customers.
