ToolFest

Co-founder of an innovation workshop festival

Duration: 24 months

Location: Berlin

Challenge

Trends and technologies are developing rapidly and start-ups are increasingly disrupting existing markets. To keep up, companies need to empower their employees to work creatively and innovatively. Many people need to adopt a new working style and learn new techniques to make their work more user-centered, agile and interdisciplinary. Our goal was to develop an intensive, yet fun format that helps participants learn these tools from the best people in the industry. As a co-founder of ToolFest, I was involved in all tasks.

Approach

🎓 Selection of topics and creation of a structure for a two-day workshop festival for innovation and creativity techniques

📣 Acquisition of high-caliber speakers and online marketing to draw attention to the event

🧭 Organization of the event including venue, catering, rented modular furniture and technical equipment as well as workshop material and programs

Organization of the event, including the opening and closing speeches and the organization of volunteers on site

Result

We organized three ToolFest events in Berlin with a total of 250 participants and speakers from companies such as SAP, Zalando, N26, HPI Academy and BCG Digital Ventures. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the event at the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak.
